Shotgun Chess

One king. One shotgun. The whole white army.

That night the Black King's whole court turned its coats and joined the white side. All he has left is a shotgun and a board full of traitors. The White King wants him taken alive before dawn.

For agents: window.shotgunChess

Agents never need a screenshot. Three readable layers: the JavaScript API below, a JSON mirror of the state in #sc-state, and a labelled 64-button grid in the accessibility tree that screen readers and browser agents both read. Every move is a text id, which is also the game record.

const g = window.shotgunChess;
g.newGame({ white: "bot", black: "agent", formation: "phuong", seed: 11 });
g.observe();          // { board, pieces, black, legal: [{ id, text }], … }
g.act("enter:d1");    // { ok: true } | { ok: false, code, message, legal }
g.on("turn", o => g.act(o.legal[0].id, { say: "Let's see." }));
// ids: step:e3 · stomp:e3 · shoot:NE · wait · soul:N:f4 · enter:c1
//      move:b8:c6 · deploy:d6 · march:b7,c7,d7 · undo · end · pick:0

The computer opponent here is the Dummy, the simulation's heuristic bot (Black looks two moves ahead, White is greedy order by order). It is not Soot. The art is drawn fresh in a pixel-chess-on-a-CRT style; no Shotgun King assets are used.
